INPI and CNIPA extend PPH pilot program
The National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) extend, for a period of five years, the pilot program of Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) between the two countries.
The relevant requirements and procedures for fullfil the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) applications will remain unchanged for both Offices.
The PPH pilot program between Portugal and China was launched in 2014, renewed 2019 and the current one will run from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2026.
