Lisbon International Intellectual Property Summer Course
The course will take place at the Law School of the University of Lisbon, from the 1st to the 12th July
The Lisbon International Intellectual Property Summer Course is jointly promoted by the Law School of the University of Lisbon (Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa) and the Portuguese Society for Intellectual Property Law (Associação Portuguesa de Direito Intelectual).
Its aims are to provide participants with a broad and up to date overview of the main issues concerning the legal regulation of copyright and neighbouring rights, industrial property rights and their enforcement in a cross-border environment.
Particular emphasis will be given to the challenges faced by IP in light of recent technological developments.
Lectures will be given in English by reputed specialists from several countries in Europe and America.
The course is aimed at law students, legal practitioners and academics interested in IP Law and related matters.
No prior knowledge of the subject matter of the course is required, but a reasonable command of the English language is necessary for all participants.
