BASIC TRAINING IN EUROPEAN PATENT LAW LISBON 2019-2020
New edition of the Basic Training course in European patent law organized on two years 2019 – 2020
This basic course, jointly organized by Centre d'Études Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle (CEIPI) and the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi), will start on the 21st of February 2019 with a duration of 2 years (2019-2020).
This training action has currently more than 400 participants and is offered in more than 40 cities from 20 European countries. CEIPI will continue to organize this course in Lisbon, in cooperation with the Portuguese Institute of Industrial Property (INPI).
The basic course with duration of 120 hours provides future practitioners in the patent field with systematic and complete tuition on the legal basis as well as on practice in the area of European patent law but it is mainly designed for future professional representatives before the EPO.
The sessions will be held at INPI’s facilities, consisting of twenty sessions per year, of about three hours each, most of them held on Thursdays and Fridays.
